Today the massive technical re-

equipment of the industry, intensi-

fication of the corporate pioneering

activity have become one of the most

important tasks of our economy.The

XVI International specialized exhi-

bition “Progressive Technologies of

Automation. PTA-2016” is just

focused on addressing the task in

the strategic branches of industry

such as instrumentation and engi-

neering industry, defense-industrial

and oil and gas sectors, energy production e.t.c.

The metropolitan area is the traditional center

of the most important developments taking pla-

ce in these sectors This is where the represen-

tatives of business, science and government

agencies have better opportunity to get acquaint-

ed with innovative solutions and breakthrough

technologies in the field of industrial automation.

Within the “PTA-2016” exhibition framework the

manufacturers, distributors and integrators will

have a chance to demonstrate the latest tech-

nologies and equipment. Each year the organiz-

ers of the exhibition provide an ideal environ-

ment for mutually beneficial cooperation bet-

ween the market majors, creating a positive ef-

fect on the development of the domestic industry

as a whole. In the new business program of the

forum there are questions associated with recent

developments in the field of embedded systems,

cloud technologies, the “Internet of things” con-
